AmpUp is proud to announce that we, along with 200+ companies, have signed The Climate Pledge. In signing the pledge, we have accepted the challenge to reach net-zero carbon by 2040.

AmpUp Adds Powerhouse Ventures As Strategic Investor 🤝
We were thrilled to announce in September AmpUp secured additional capital from leading cleantech investment firm Powerhouse Ventures. Powerhouse joins Goodyear, TechNexus, Foothill Ventures, and other firms in AmpUp’s latest funding round.
Powerhouse Ventures is a seed-stage venture fund that backs founding teams building innovative software to rapidly transform our global energy and mobility systems. The fund is backed by industry veterans and leading energy and investment firms, including TotalEnergies Ventures, Centrica Innovations, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, former NRG CEO David Crane, former SunPower President Howard Wenger, and many more.

Li Zhang Joins AmpUp As Chief Technology Officer 🎉
We are excited to welcome Li Zhang as our new Chief Technology Officer!
Li brings over 15 years of software engineering and management experience from Airbnb, Google, and Facebook.
Li joins AmpUp following his role as Director of Engineering at Airbnb, where he led a team of over 100 engineers for the end-to-end consumer-facing experience on Airbnb websites and mobile apps. Prior to Airbnb, Li was a software engineer and manager at Google and Facebook respectively. Li earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California.
NOW CHARGING: Grand Canyon University ⚡️
We are thrilled to see Grand Canyon University adopt charge stations for their growing community of EV drivers. With the first two stations installed, and many more on the way, the stations will help faculty, students, and guests recharge.

The St. Louis Vehicle Electrification Rides for Seniors program launched in early October, helping seniors ride in style with an EV car sharing service. We're proud to help operate this service with partners Forth Mobility, General Motors, Ameren, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and the City of St. Louis! Learn more about the project here.
